Tomorrow,
September 15th sees the DVD release of two ½-season sets for the Cartwright clan:
Bonanza - The Official 1st Season, Volume 1 brings the first 16 episodes of the show's rookie year, and on the same day
Bonanza - The Official 1st Season, Volume 2 is released with the remaining 16 episodes of that same first year of the show (1959-60). The folks at the studio haven't provided us with any press releases or rear package art to inform us about extras included with either of these 4-disc sets. However, Gord was able to get the details about the bonus material from advance copies that the studio graciously sent him. Below is what's listed on the back of the boxes; as you can see there's plenty here in honor of the show's 50th Anniversary!
