Can't wait for
The Best of Bobby's World - Volume 1 to arrive, eh? Neither can we. Neither can Anchor Bay, apparently, who - two weeks before the May 4th street date for the first volume - are already getting ready to release the second volume!
First volumes first, though. With the release just a couple of Tuesdays away, it came to our attention that noone seemed to know what the exact list of episodes are on the
Volume 1 DVD! So we got with Anchor Bay, and they told us the following would be included:
- 1. Uncle Ted's Excellent Adventure
- 2. Bobby's Tooth or Dare
- 3. Swim by Me
- 4. Fish Tales
- 5. Jets, Choo-Choos and Cars
According to Anchor Bay, each of these were hand-picked by show creator/producer/ writer/star Howie Mandel as being his personal favorite episodes.
But Howie has more than just five favorites, apparently, because
The Best of Bobby's World - Volume 2 is already in-the-works, and has been long enough to get a release date very quickly. VERY quickly.
August 3rd, to be exact. Anchor Bay wasn't willing to part with more details than that just yet, but a quick check this morning reveals that the title is already
up for pre-order at Amazon! List price there is shown to be $9.98, same as the first volume. We'll have more for you about this release, just as soon as Anchor Bay announces it publicly, so stay tuned!
