Anchor Bay announced yesterday that they are preparing a May 4th release of the first-ever
Bobby's World DVD. This single-disc release is subtitled
"Classic Scratch 'n' Sniff Episodes" and includes 5 fun-filled episodes, especially chosen by Creator/Producer/Star Howie Mandel, and a scratch-and-sniff postcard as well (hence the subtitle). Here's the text of their announcement:
The Emmy Award-nominated animated children series, "Bobby's World," appeared for eight seasons on FOX (1990-98) and currently runs in syndication six days a week in 65 countries. As the series' creator and executive producer, Howie Mandel was closely involved in its writing, as well as providing the voice of Bobby, Bobby's dad and other characters.
The main character, Bobby, is a 4-year-old boy who lives in a typical suburban neighborhood, but his incredible imagination takes him to a world of daring adventure, incredible wonder and lots of laughs - all in pint-sized perspective.
