In a
report we posted last week about
The Bob Newhart Show - The Complete 1st Season, we pointed out further down in the story that a mention about the set in
Video Business trade magazine had shown a release date in May, instead of the April date that was originally announced. And to further confuse the issue, Fox's press site was no longer displaying the title; it had been hidden from view in the studio's info system there.
While we note that the title still hasn't re-appeared there at the press site, we did get a response from Fox about the situation. The Fox Home Entertainment marketing department informs us that
The Bob Newhart Show - The Complete 1st Season is indeed confirmed for the originally announced date of
April 12.
Sorry for the confusion, but it's understandable to see why we were mixed up! Stay tuned and we'll let you know about any further updates to this release.
