Bizarre - John Byner & Super Dave are Back on the Schedule with The Best of: Volumes 1-10 Uncensored!

Bizarre stars John Byner, and features everybody's favourite daredevil stuntman Super Dave Osborne. In fact, Bizarre introduced the world to Super Dave Osborne, who went on to star in his own TV variety shows, a cartoon series, a feature film, a Las Vegas show plus numerous guest appearances on the Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with David Letterman. Recently, Bob Einstein (the actor who plays Super Dave) has had recurring roles on the hit TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development.

These are the in-demand UNCENSORED episodes that were never aired in Canada, only on Showtime in the USA. Features over 100 episodes hand picked by the series' producers from its successful six season run, and appeals to fans of zany sketch comedy like Saturday Night Live, Benny Hill, SCTV, Kids In The Hall and In Living Color. Guest appearances include: Mike Myers, Howie Mandel, Mr. T, Victoria Jackson, Redd Foxx, Dick Van Dyke, Pat Morita, Billy Barty, Henny Youngman and Billy Van!

Last September we reported that VEI of Toronto would release "Bizarre - The Best of: 10-DVD Set" the following month (Oct. 2007), a ten-disc set sold at Canadian retailers and costing CA$79.95 SRP. However, at the last minute the release was postponed, and we haven't heard about it since then.

Now Canadian wholesalers and retailers are telling us that this release is back on the schedule, under the slightly revised title Bizarre - The Best of: Volumes 1-10 Uncensored, and with an even-lower cost now of CA$59.95 SRP! Running time is approx. 2400 minutes, and it's planned to be available on August 5th. Here's a look at the front of the packaging:
