This past Thursday we brought you the long-awaited
announcement from Universal Studios Home Entertainment for
The Bionic Woman - Season 1, coming to DVD on
October 19th. The classic 1976 series starring Lindsay Wagner won't be bare-bones, either, and we brought you
early extras info for the set lat that same day. Now William Keck, of "Keck's Exclusives," has
posted a story at our big-sister website, TVGuide.com, with the complete list of extras for this title!
As we previously reported, the extras include the 3 (or 5, depending on how you prefer to count them!) crossover episodes from
The Six Million Dollar Man which start the story for Jaime Sommers: "The Bionic Woman, Parts 1 and 2," "The Return of the Bionic Woman, Parts 1 and 2," and "Welcome Home, Jaime, Part 1". We also mentioned that Universal had announced a "Bionic Beginnings," featurette, which Keck's report at TVGuide.com says features an all-new interview with show star Lindsay Wagner. That's great to hear, as fans have been wanting to hear from her on these DVDs!
Keck's write-up also confirms that there are Audio Commentaries on this set, with participation from show Creator/Writer/Director Kenneth Johnson. But there is also participation from Director Alan J. Levi, and from Writer James. D. Parriott as well. Furthermore, the big fun surprise is that the extras will also include a Photo Gallery, and a Gag Reel. Wow!
Below we have the official Universal Studios Home Entertainment write-up of the synopsis and bonus material for
The Bionic Woman - Season 1 on DVD. We don't have package art yet, but we'll bring it to you as soon as we can! You can
pre-order this release from Amazon right away, at a discount. Leap to it!
