A number of years ago, A&E's long-running
Biography series did an in-depth look at
Saturday Night Live as one of their episodes. That episode, long released on VHS and available as a DVD+R ("burned upon request") special order direct from the studio, is finally coming as a retail DVD release on
October 30th. Cost is $24.95 SRP (cheaper than the special-order DVD+R version), and you can
pre-order it from Amazon for $18.69! Running time is around 100 minutes. We don't have cover art yet, but here is the description of this release:
It is one of the most influential and enduring shows in the history of television. For more than a quarter of a century, Lorne Michael's brainchild has been a weekend staple of millions of viewers, helping to launch the careers of a veritable who's who of comedy legends.
