With the fourth (and final) season heading to Showtime this spring, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is working on bringing The Big C - The Complete 3rd Season to DVD on April 2nd. This one will not be sold in stores, however: retail sales of the first two seasons must not have been up to snuff, because the studio has elected to release the new 2-DVD set as part of their MOD (manufacturing on demand) program. Shame on you if you haven't been catching this series: it's incredibly terrific!
Details, pricing and package art for The Complete 3rd Season haven't been made available yet, but stay tuned. Keep in mind that as an MOD title this will be available through such sellers as Warner Archive's WBshop.com and Amazon's CreateSpace. Pre-order listings haven't been made available yet, but we hope to have those links for you in the not-too-distant future.
