Last year's season has just hit home video earlier this week, and the new season doesn't get its CBS broadcast premiere until this coming Thursday evening. But that doesn't deter Amazon, who has ALREADY begun taking pre-orders for
The Big Bang Theory - The Complete 5th Season on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc formats. These listings are LONG before (obviously!) the official Warner Home Video announcement for these items, though, so instead of a street date Amazon only says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives."
Pricing is available, however, currently showing $44.98 SRP for the standard DVD and $54.97 SRP for the Blu-ray (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away at a discounted price, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entries, nor is there cover art yet (there is temporary promo art there, and while that might eventually turn into box art, we're not going to presume that one way or another, since the release is roughly a year away!).
