As you're probably aware, Amazon has posted a number of "pre-announcement" pre-order listings lately, allowing you lock in your copy of various upcoming TV-DVD titles...even though they haven't actually been put on the official studio schedule just yet. We've posted news about quite a few of these in recent weeks, including some special posts this past Saturday. Now more of these have come to our attention!
One of them is Warner Home Video's
The Big Bang Theory - The Complete 2nd Season on
DVD. Since that product isn't officially announced at this time, the Amazon pre-order listing does not have a release date yet. Instead it says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives."
It does have pricing, though, showing $59.98 SRP (but you can pre-purchase the title right now, reserving your copy at a discounted cost). Our thanks to reader Ron Mclendon for being the first to alert us to this. No other details are available yet, nor any art. There's is, also, a
separate listing for a Blu-ray of season two, but it's not an actual pre-order listing; it's a "sign up to be notified" arrangement, in case Warner does ever decide to release the title in that format (which isn't a foregone conclusion at this point, apparently). We'll update you, of course, whenever more information becomes available. Stay tuned!
