Long-time readers here at TVShowsOnDVD may recall that this has happened before. That online retailer Amazon.com has a history of posting pre-orders for upcoming Fox TV-on-DVD products, before Fox Home Entertainment officially announces them. Sometimes LONG before Fox's announcement!
Experience always proves, in the end, that the info Amazon posts turns out to be more-or-less accurate, with very few exceptions

The Bernie Mac Show - Season 1 is
up for pre-order right now at Amazon.com, with a release date of March 2, 2004. List price is $49.98 (though Amazon's taking pre-orders at 30% off that price, which is a great deal).
Amazon doesn't have any further details than that, I'm afraid. And, as mentioned, this has not yet been announced by Fox. We'll be looking for more information from them, however. According to
TVTome.com - a great site full of episode guides - there were 22 episodes in this show's rookie year. It's a terrific series, and the pilot episode won an Emmy award for the writers. Definately one to look forward to. Stay tuned...we'll try to get back to you quickly with more information!
*Update: We contacted Fox and found out that the set IS coming, but the date information Amazon has posted is wrong. Fox will announce the title in February, which is what they had intended, for a release that occurs after March.
