A few weeks ago we
let the cat out of the bag with early info about Sony's
July 24th release of
Benson - The Complete 1st Season on DVD. This past Monday the studio finally announced it, and an
Amazon pre-order listing has been up, down, and is now back up again. During our first news story, we showed off the early cover art concept, which we warned you might change. Well, it has...big-time! Sony completely tossed out the original layout, and went in a different direction. Below is the final box art, which was just released yesterday.
Sony also finalized the extras on this set, which will consist of a Video Introduction by Robert Guillaume, and a photo gallery. Here's the new cover (we'll update the art in our release listing over this coming weekend):
