Beautiful People - Get Beautiful With Daphne Zuniga This August

Sophie Kerr, her mom Lynn and older sister Karen, live in a tiny town in New Mexico. Trouble is, their dreams are waiting in New York City. So when Sophie gets a full scholarship to Brighton, a prestigious Manhattan prep school, the Kerrs pack their stuff and leave their baggage behind. It's so-long small-town ways and hello to a new world loaded with possibilities and full of surprises...

For Sophie (Sarah Foret), it's a world where an out-of-towner might as well be from outer space. At her new school, the student roster reads like a Who's Who in New York Society and the richest, snobbiest kids, known as the Beautiful People, run the show. The "BP's" can make life miserable for a stranger as independent and sensitive as Sophie, but she's determined to make it work because Brighton holds the key to her future. Good thing there are some friendly faces, but who can Sophie really trust? And can she be true to herself and not be relegated to social Siberia or worse?

Daphne Zuniga, Sarah Foret and Torrey DeVitto star in ABC Family's Beautiful People, which is Executive Produced by Paul Stupin, who also Exec. Produced Dawson's Creek. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing Beautiful People to DVD on August 8th. This 4-disc set will contain all 16 hour-long episodes from the first season of the show. There will also be a featurette, plus some bonus previews of other Sony releases. Look for guest appearances by Zuniga's Melrose Place castmate Grant Show as her character's ex-husband. Cost will be $49.95 SRP. Here's the early artwork; when final cover art is available, we'll bring it to you:
