The Beast - The Recent A&E Show Starring Patrick Swayze Will Get a DVD Release

The Beast, starring Patrick Swayze and Travis Fimmel, centers on an unorthodox but effective FBI veteran, Charles Barker (Swayze), who takes on a rookie partner, Ellis Dove (Fimmel). Barker trains Dove in a hard-edged, psychologically driven approach towards undercover work, where a moment's hesitation can lead to death.

Amazon has added a release listingThe Beast - The Complete 1st Season, the A&E program starring Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing, North & South). The show debuted on cable this past January, and comes to DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on August 18th, as a 3-disc set (590 minutes) costing $39.95 SRP.
