"Does the eye move?" We can't tell you how many times the question has been asked. Well, the answer is...YES! The Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Epic Saga box - which measures a huge 8.5" x 9" - features a lenticular eye, with the illusion of eye movement. So now your own personal Cylon can watch you move around the room.
Want more artwork? You got it! We have taken the below portion of a trade magazine ad, and zoomed in on the disc art depicted therein. As you can see, the ad seems to show that all six discs use the same artwork:
That may be misleading, though. Maybe a nice-looking arrangement for the ad, using six copies of the first disc? Below you'll see sample menu screens from the set. Twelve such shots were provided by Universal. However we've only used three of them, because - except for the nice shot of the
Galactica on the main menu - all of those were Bonus Materials menus featuring the exact same shot of either Apollo or Starbuck. So instead of repeating them, we've selected one showcasing each character. Too bad they didn't spread it around more.
Note that the Starbuck sample menu says at the bottom: "
Please Flip The Disc Over For Additional Bonus Materials." Almost every menu screen shot Universal provided to promote this set says the same thing. So, even though Universal hasn't said so outright, it becomes obvious that some - or perhaps all - of the DVDs with this release will be double-sided.
