Two weeks ago Universal
announced that on
April 6th they will put out repackaged versions of
Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series on
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc. Just now this evening, the studio has provided package art for the revamped, more "shelf-friendly" boxes.
These look quite nice, as you can see below, but are simply "Digipaks with an Outer Box" for the Blu-ray version, and "Slim Snap Cases with an Outer Box" for the DVD set. Besides the simplified packaging (which can obtained by owners of the previous Limited Edition collectible version of the title via Universal's
exchange program), you'll also get
The Plan included in the updated
Complete Series release, all at a lower list price.
