Shortly after Universal
issued a press release for
The Plan on DVD and Blu-ray we started to receive emails from fans questioning the 90 minute running time. The director, Edward James Olmos, was creating a Director's Cut of the movie which would run longer than the televised version, and has said that the DVD/BD version would be longer than 90 mins. We spoke to Universal and have been told the DVD and Blu-ray will run 111 minutes, the longest version of the movie, and 21 minutes longer than the time issued on the press release.
Amazon has also corrected the release date for the
Blu-ray release, moving it back to
October 27, the same date as the
DVD.
And for those people who contacted us hoping that the missing
Battlestar Galactica Webisodes, "Face Of The Enemy," would be included on
The Plan... unfortunately they won't be there.
