We
reported in late April that Warner already had plans for
The Batman - Season 1, Volume 2: The Man Who Would Be Bat, which would feature three episodes: "The Cat and the Bat" (with The Catwoman), "The Man Who Would Be Bat" (with Man-Bat), and "The Big Chill" (with Mr. Freeze). Now, after a bit of a cover art adjustment to include the new version of the DC Comics logo (see below), Warner Home Video has now released the final details about the set.
Expect this DVD to leave the batcave on
Sept. 20th, at a cost of
$14.97 SRP (the "minimum advertised price" - the lowest sale amount retailers are allowed to show in ads - is $9.95 for this title). Extras will include "The Batman: Junior Detective Exam Level 2" and "Gotham City PD Case Files: Gotham City's Baddest Villians." Video is Full Frame (1.33:1), sound is Dolby Digital Stereo for both English and Spanish, and subtitles are on board in English, Spanish and French. The release will be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Running time is 66 minutes.
