The Batman - ToonZone reports new show to DVD in '05 |

This week has seen new single-disc releases of Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and Superman: The Animated Series. Each of these arrived in stores just this past Tuesday.
Our friend Jim Harvey of ToonZone.net has a report from a few days ago which discusses the new DVDs, and also makes mention of the new Kids WB series The Batman:
Extras for these DVDs include trivia, featurettes, interviews, games, and trailers. According to advertisements, a sneek peek of the new Kids WB series The Batman is also included on every DVD release. Expect the first DVD volume of The Batman to be released in early to mid 2005.
Thanks Jim! The new show, like the upcoming major motion picture Batman Begins(hits theaters June 17, 2005), takes the caped crusader back to his earlier days in establishing himself as a crimefighter. It makes sense that the newest cartoon's first DVD release would happen right around the time everyone's gearing up for the film.
