Let's face it: we're all waiting for episodes of the classic Adam West version of
Batman to hit DVD. And that's not on tap quite yet, until Warner Bros. (who owns the character) and 20th Century Fox (who own the 1966 TV Show) work out their licensing issues between each other. We hope that happens soon!
But this might help in the meantime: a DVD from Image Entertainment of behind-the-scenes stuff about the series.
Holy Batmania! allows you to learn everything you wanted to know about the Caped Crusader's legendary TV show and 1966 theatrical feature with this special 2-disc set containing four main programs:
- "Batman: Holy Batmania"
- "Adam West: Behind the Cowl"
- "Julie Newmar: The Cat's Meow"
- "Cesar Romero: In a Class by Himself"
255 minutes long, this will also include Screen Tests and Presentations, Theatrical Trailers, TV Spots, Batman Wraparounds, and Trivia. Release date is
