A brand new 2-Disc DVD produced by and starring Adam West. It contains over 3 hours of footage in which Adam goes episode by episode, recounting his personal memories and telling never-before-heard stories about his experience creating the iconic 1960's Batman TV series. Amusing and intimate, this DVD immerses fans in the world of the classic Batman series in unparalleled depth. The classic Batman speaks alone to you, the viewer, in a variety of amusing settings, whispering in the attic, or astride an imaginary horse at his home. This DVD is a must for any true Batman fan.
Exactly a year ago yesterday we
reported that Adam West, star of the classic live-action
Batman series of the late '60s, was working on his own DVD releases describing his time making the show. To be clear, these ARE NOT EPISODES from the highly-desired program, but rather West's own behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show.
This past weekend at the San Diego Comic Con, West debuted that DVD set. Titled
Ada West Naked, it is a 2-disc set delving into the history of the show. As of yesterday, this title is now available
directly from Adam West's website for $30 (plus any shipping/handling fees, taxes, etc. that may or may not be incurred...see site for details). Or, for $50, you can
order an autographed copy instead that is "signed and personalized on the DVD jacket any way you wish," according to the listing.
Our thanks to reader Michelle Schacht for tipping us off that these are now available to buy online. Here's a look at the package, front and back. It looks like we get to see some 4-color Bat-skin!
