Universal has announced another TV-on-DVD item...in two flavors! With interest in Robert Blake high right now, Universal has decided the time is ripe to bring his 70's cop show, Baretta, to DVD. Universal will release the 1-Disc "Best of Baretta," presumably with the best from all four seasons of the series. List price will be $19.98. Can't stand getting the shows out of order? Wait, don't cry foul yet! If you prefer season sets, then Universal is looking out for you, too. On the same date they will ship a "Baretta: Season 1" set, with all 12 episodes from the short first season on 3 discs. List price will be $39.98. Cover art and other details aren't available yet, but we can plan to join Fred the Cockatoo and informant Rooster when Tony Baretta hits the streets on Oct. 29th. As Sammy Davis says in the theme song "Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow": Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
