The latest print issue of
Video Business magazine is reporting in their "Vidbits" sidebar column that
Atomic Betty will head to DVD in 2005. It seems that production company Breakthrough Animation has licensed
Betty to Warner Home Video for DVD release of its first two seasons - all 52 episodes which have been mapped out for those years.
Atomic Betty first became popular in Canada via the Teletoon channel, and then was picked up by Warner's sister company The Cartoon Network for airing on Cable TV in the USA. Plenty of fans will be happy to get DVDs of "the toughest chick in the alien world"; stay tuned for more info when we get it!
