Arrest and Trial - More Episodes From the Classic Ben Gazzara/Chuck Connors Series

Following up on their first collection last October, Timeless Media Group is set for a March 25th release of Arrest and Trial - The Best Of, Part 2. This new DVD collection contains 9 more episodes from the show's single season (1963-64), running 675 minutes on 3 discs. Cost is $29.98 SRP, but you can pre-order from Amazon right now for $20.99 after discount. Below is the studio's write-up of this release, plus a look at the special foil packaging:
Before Law & Order, there was Arrest and Trial, NBC's groundbreaking 1960s series starring Ben Gazzara and Chuck Connors. Truly ahead of its time, Arrest and Trial was a 90-minute show combining elements of police procedural and courtroom drama. In the first half of each episode, Sgt. Nick Anderson (Gazzara) of the LAPD tracked down and arrested a suspect. In the second half, Defense Attorney John Egan (Connors) fought to exonerate the accused.

Arrest and Trial featured many of television's best actors. This 3 DVD Box Set, faithfully reproduced from the original NBC masters, including nine episodes of Arrest and Trial. They include guest turns by Kim Hunter (Some Weeks Are All Mondays), MacDonald Carey (Those Which Love Has Made), Sandy Dennis (Somewhat Lower Than The Angels) and more, written by some of Hollywood's finest writers, including Larry Cohen (Branded, Phone Booth).
NOTE: The info that the studio had sent over for this release contained a typo for the network which originally aired Arrest and Trial. The info states "NBC," but it should read "ABC." We've informed Timeless Media Group of the issue, and while we have not changed the text above, we have gone ahead and corrected it in our release listing for this item. We give thanks to reader Jeff Swan for drawing our attention to the matter.
