A week ago ABC/Disney
announced that
Army Wives - The Complete 5th Season is coming to DVD on
September 27th. At the time we were a little thin on information, and package art wasn't available yet either. Now we know that the 3-disc release will come with English, French and Spanish subtitles (in addition to the English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and anamorphic widescreen we reported on last time). We've also learned that the bonus material will consist of Bloopers, Deleted Scenes, and a Featurette titled "Hangin' at the Hump with the Cast of
Army Wives." And we also have that box art for you, extracted from a "sell sheet" that the studio sent out to sellers. As you can see, the starburst is promoting the fact that the SRP is a bit less than a couple of the previous season sets have been (the 2nd and 3rd season titles were $45.99 SRP each). Good looking out!
