Retailer DVDPlanet has beaten Paramount to an official release for Andy Griffith Season 6 by posting preorder information to their site yesterday. They say that the 5 disc set, which contains all 30 episodes from season 6, will be released on May 9. The suggested price is $39.95, though DVDPlanet is currently selling it for $27.97.
