ADV Films will bring
Andromeda to and end with the release of Season 5 and the "Slipstream Collection" - the complete series in one box. Both sets will be released on
October 3.
Season 5 will be a 10 disc set containing all 22 episodes (1100 mins), and retailing for $69.98 (
Amazon price of $52.49).
The Slipstream Collection includes 50 discs containing all 110 episodes of the series (5500 mins). The set will retail for $169.98, but it can be preordered from
Amazon.com for $127.49. There will NOT be any exclusive extra content in the Slipstream collection (just the material that was in the season set releases). ADV isn't following the lead of the other studios by releasing exclusive content in the "complete series" set. Thanks ADV!
