Back in '99, before the TV-on-DVD concept really took off, a distributor by the name of "E Realbiz" released
a trio of DVDs for
America's Funniest Home Videos. Long discontinued, most of us missed out on getting these offerings back when they were available.
Now Buena Vista has revealed to us that they have plans to bring this show back to DVD themselves, sometime in the first half of 2005. This is an idea that's been on-and-off the schedule before, but now it seems to be on again, just as interest in this sort of thing is higher than ever.
Plans are definitely for the same sort of "best-of" clips that made up the E Realbiz titles, but nothing more was revealed to us than that. We'll have more for you once the title gets announced. There's no ETA on that, either, as the studio still has to nail down a specific release date. But stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated.
