The Best of American Idol" is coming to DVD in the Fall of 2002. In a one-disc look at the highlights of the show, the folks at Respond2 Entertainment - who brought us the Ultimate DVD Collections for Johnny Carson and Bob Hope - will be working with the producers of the American Idol series to release a 90-minute Special Edition DVD with promises of "bonus footage, plus extras you'll have to see to believe."
Initially sold only through the American Idol website, it will be available two weeks later, both in stores and at online sites (such as Amazon) in both the USA and Canada. List price is US$19.99, and will be shipped on October 15th, 2002.
