Late last year we
brought you news that
American Chopper was being sold in season sets directly by The Discovery Channel. At the time we were looking at $75 or $100 (now $145!) per season set, though, for 6- and 15-disc sets, respectively. Wowsers.
Now Discovery Channel has joined forces with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and they are putting both seasons out to the mainstream retail market starting on
May 3rd. Each season has been squeezed down to a 3-DVD set for $29.96 SRP per box. Running time is 582 minutes on each one.
