This Is America, Charlie Brown - 2-DVD Box Set Features 8 Peanuts Shorts

This Is America, Charlie Brown was originally billed as the first animated mini-series ever, airing on CBS in 8 parts that were broken into two sections: four episodes broadcast in Oct-Nov of 1988, and four more that aired monthly in February through May of 1989. Everyone's favorite Peanuts characters are shown traveling through time to visit important places and events in American history during each short, from the earliest days of the Pilgrims to the explorers of outer space:

2. The Birth of the Constitution
3. The Wright Brothers At Kitty Hawk
4. The NASA Space Station
5. The Building Of The Transcontinental Railroad
6. The Great Inventors
7. The Smithsonian and the Presidency
8. The Music and Heroes of America

The first episode, "The Mayflower Voyagers," is already on DVD, included as a bonus short on A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Now you can own them all on June 13th (just a few months after the release of a pair of Peanuts theatrical films), in a 2-DVD set that runs 194 minutes.
