reported about how the TV-DVD releases so far from the Saturday morning show
Alvin And The Chipmunks (a.k.a.

The Chipmunks Go To The Movies) were all either parodies of popular films (taken from the end of the show's run, under the "
...Movies" series name) or else holiday-themed episodes. That trend continued as this year has moved on, with new DVD releases announced for
Alvin and the Chipmunks Go to the Movies - Funny, We Shrunk The Adults,
Alvin and the Chipmunks - Alvin's Thanksgiving Celebration and
Alvin & the Chipmunks - Go to the Movies: Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom.
This morning Paramount Home Entertainment announced another new release, a 2-DVD collection called
Alvin and the Chipmunks - The ALVINNN!!! Edition. Running 165 minutes, this release will come out on
September 9th. Early info this morning shows full screen video, as originally broadcast, but shows that the audio has been enhanced to be in English 5.1 Surround Dolby Digital Stereo. No other details are available yet, other than the studio description below, but stay tuned for further info, and cover art, as soon as we have them for you!
