This morning Paramount Home Entertainment has announced another new
Alvin and the Chipmunks DVD release, available from
September 23rd and intended to accompany a late-November holday:

Celebrate Thanksgiving, Chipmunk-style, with these fun-filled original episodes from Alvin and the Chipmunks. On this DVD, the world-famous Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore perform in a play, recall famous moments in American History, take care of a kitten and face the marriage of Dave!
The run time for
Alvin and the Chipmunks - Alvin's Thanksgiving Celebration is 88 minutes for this release, which is presented in full screen video and with English Stereo audio. The release will be sold separately, or also found bundled together in the
Alvin and the Chipmunks Holiday Gift Set, which packages the Thanksgiving-themed disc along with
Trick or Treason and
A Chipmunk Christmas (both older releases that Paramount is re-promoting separately on their respective holidays this year). Stay tuned for box art and pricing info for the new releases.
