A bit of "housekeeping" for us, that we've been neglecting for a bit over a week now. It seems that Buena Vista decided to change up the packaging a bit for
Alias - The Complete 3rd Season (due to release on
Sept. 7th).
If you look at the old artwork (available
in a previous news item), Sydney's body points to the right, with her face turned to the camera, and Lauren's body is straight with her head turned toward Sydney.
Now the cover - which is otherwise the same - shows Sydney and Lauren repositioned: Sydney is simply flipped, and a new shot of Lauren seems to have been used to show her pointed toward the right but looking dead-on at the purchaser. Take a gander:
This is just the sort of fine-tuning that often goes on because a studio things the changed version will be more appealing to buyers. Not that big a deal, but we thought we would pass it on. Thanks to readers like Tom Stewart for writing in about this.
