When we
first reported on extras for
Alias - Season 3, one of the items listed by Buena Vista was "Audio Commentaries, including the 'Biggest
Alias Fan,' who will be chosen in a national promotion."
It turns out that this wasn't the whole story. The plan wasn't for that fan - Jennifer Wong as it turned out - to do the track alone. She had some company for her recording session...and who better than "Regina" from
Television Without Pity.com (TWoP)? As
Alias fans who visit TWoP know, Regina does the recaps of each episode. And she's been a big fan herself, but with the coming of the 3rd season her recaps have gotten a bit, uh, "snarky," as she might put it.
So Regina, who's real name is Erin Dailey, was given the opportunity to do the commentary track for the season-opener "The Two," and be joined by "biggest fan" Jennifer. And they had a really good time doing it,
Regina reports. Read that account of the recording session to get all the details, including mention of her 5-minute-long commentary about "the beard."
It all sounds like a lot of good-natured fun, and we're looking forward to hearing it ourselves. Look
