At the beginning of this month we
had the scoop that Samuel L. Jackson's animated mini-series would come to Blu-ray Disc on
August 26th with the
Afro Samurai - Director's Cut release. That info has now been confirmed by Funimation, via announcements for release in both the USA and Canada. Extras, we understand, will be identical to the
DVD "Director's Cut" release.
Cost for this high-definition release will be $29.98 SRP (less than the 2-DVD Director's Cut package), and you can
pre-order the Blu-ray from DVDEmpire at this time, for a $22.91 discounted price. Stay tuned for package art!
