Warner Brothers has announced that
The Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves will have a single-DVD release on
February 21st. This last-minute addition to their slate for next month will include 6 episodes taken from
the first season set:
- Superman on Earth
- The Haunted Lighthouse
- The Talkative Dummy
- The Mystery of the Broken Statues
- The Monkey Mystery
- A Night of Terror
The SRP is $14.94, putting this in the category of recent "impulse item" TV-DVDs that we've been seeing for other shows which also have season-set releases already, like
3rd Rock From The Sun and
Sex and the City. Cover art isn't available yet, but we'll fly back with it when we see it.
