Wow...as of last week we have passed the 1-year mark since Shout! Factory released
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - Volume 1 on DVD (hardly the fastest thing around, then). Fans have been quite vocal in wanting the rest of the series released, but up until now Shout! has not given out any hard word about a schedule for the next DVD volume. Until now, that is!
Late yesterday we received word from Amazon that they have begun
taking pre-orders for
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - Volume 2. In-depth details aren't available, but they show cost of $29.99 SRP (they are currently discounting it to $20.99, but that can change without notice) and display a release date of
December 9th.
Stay tuned for further details, box art, and anything else we can find out about this release! Oh, and we've heard rumors that the third and final volume should make it out in 2009, too...stay tuned for word about that as well.
