We've received news from a few readers that
Kent McCord posted a release date for the first season to his site. The date was August 9th, which didn't sit right with us since Universal has just announced three other titles for that date (
Columbo, McCloud and
McMillan and Wife). It seemed unlikely that they would release another set that day and not announce it at the same time.
We made some calls, looked under some rocks, and came up with
August 23 as the tentative release date for season 1. We assume this will be announced in the next week or so.
