The other day I wrote a piece at the
TVGuide.com "DVD News + Reviews" blog about there being hope for some stalled series, after I got word that some of the major studios have been shopping lists of shows around to the independent studios. I wanted to let people know that there was still hope that series which haven't had releases for years may continue to come up...but I didn't expect we'd have news on one of these quite so soon!
Yes, the second season of
Adam 12 is coming. You'll be able to enjoy all 26 half-hour episodes on
September 30 in this 4-disc set, thanks to Shout! Factory. Details are still being ironed out, but we've been told to expect some bonus material on the set (something the first season from Universal lacked). Shout! has priced this set at just $34.99, which should translate into a sticker price of around $25 at your local retailer.
