After 6 seasons already aired, and a last-minute approval for a 7th season, fans have wondered why According to Jim has never seen a DVD release. Starring Jim Belushi (Curly Sue, Wild Palms) and Courtney Thorne-Smith (Melrose Place, Ally McBeal), the perennial ABC sitcom is due to get a home video release at last, we hear! Our inside-the-industry sources tell us that the folks at Disney/Buena Vista had already planned on a release, moved it, and that it could move again...no studio's schedule is ever completely safe in the DVD industry, of course! But, right now, unofficial plans call for a possible Late January shipment of According to Jim on DVD. Will it come off?
