Back in November we
reported that E1 Entertainment had informed us directly of their plans for a March 23rd release of
The Abbott and Costello Show - The Complete Series: Collector's Edition, a 9-DVD set that the studio told us would be priced at $69.98 SRP. But recently the pre-order listings for this title from each of our affiliate online retailer partners,
Amazon.com and
DVDEmpire.com, each show that the date and cost have changed. The date has been pushed back one week, to
March 30th. On the other hand, the cost has come down ten dollars, to a list price of $59.98 SRP. We asked our contacts at E1 to confirm this information, but haven't gotten a response in time for our deadline. However, information at the studio's website apparently confirms the date and cost change, so we're passing it along to all of you!
