In the era of Led Zeppelin, Tab cola and Farrah Fawcett posters, this hilarious sitcom delights fans with its nostalgic references and funny, slice-of-life storylines about growing up in the 70s. Eric Forman is a typical high school student growing up in Wisconsin in 1976 with his family and his friends. Flash back to a time when platform shoes and puka shells were all the rage in this hilarious retro-sitcom. For Eric, Kelso, Jackie, Hyde, Donna and Fez, a group of high school teens who spend most of their time hanging out in Eric's basement, life in the '70s isn't always so groovy. Set in the mood ring and polyester era, the series is a retro-hip situation comedy about an eclectic group of friends on the verge of adulthood.
From 2004 to 2008, Fox Home Entertainment released DVDs for the entire run of the huge Carsey-Werner produced sitcom,
That '70s Show, a show that launched the careers of stars such as Ashton Kutcher (
No Strings Attached, Killers, Punk'd upcoming on
Two and a Half Men), Mila Kunis (
Friends With Benefits, Black Swan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Family Guy's "Meg Griffin"), Topher Grace (
Take Me Home Tonight, Predators, Spider-Man 3), and Laura Prepon (
October Road, How I Met Your Mother, title role in the upcoming NBC series
Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea). It was also a place to find stars like Kurtwood Smith (
RoboCop), Debra Jo Rupp (
Big), Tommy Chong (of "Cheech & Chong"), Don Stark (from TV's
TimeCop), and Tanya Roberts (TV's
Charlie's Angels, The Beastmaster, Sheena: Queen of the Jungle and 007's
A View to a Kill).
In case you missed those now-discontinued DVD releases of the show, or in case they were too pricey for you at the time, Mill Creek Entertainment has recently licensed the show from Carsey-Werner, as we've
previously reported. Mill Creek has scheduled a pair of 3-disc sets for release on
September 13th, with
