A bit over a month ago, just days before Halloween, we reported
that Mill Creek Entertainment's planned high-def Blu-ray Disc release of That '70s Show - Season 1
had been penciled-in for January 10th, but that the studio informed us that it wasn't finalized yet, and could be subject to change. Today the studio informed us that the street date for this item is indeed moving, back to March
. The reason for the change is a good one, however! Mill Creek, along with the show's production company of Carsey Werner, had an opportunity to include new bonus material, which will be unique to the Blu-ray version, and which will hopefully entice fans to upgrade to the high-def release once it's available. Because those new extras aren't finalized yet, a specific street date hasn't been set to replace the old schedule. We're also still waiting on finalized artwork for the BD format release of the title, which we're told will have a different look from Mill Creek's recent DVD release of the first season. Stay tuned, of course, and we'll keep you informed as further developments occur! In the meantime, feel free to continue pre-ordering it from Amazon
, and they will deliver it to your front door just as soon as the title's released.
