Several weeks ago we
reported a mid-September release date for Universal's DVD release of
30 Rock - Season 2...but soon afterward we
found out that the date had changed to October 14th. That new release date came from an ad the studio placed in a trade magazine, and was confirmed later that day by our contacts. However, it seems like the title has moved again, and this time a bit for the better!
This morning the studio officially announced the title to the press, and the new date provided is a week earlier, on
October 7th. Official cost is $39.98 SRP, for a 2-disc set running 321 minutes for 15 episodes. Video is widescreen, audio is English Dolby, and English and Spanish subtitles are included. Package art didn't accompany the announcement, but at the bottom you'll see the box picture we brought you from the above-mentioned trade ad.
