It's been more than a year since Fox released the
first season of Morgan Spurlock's television series
30 Days. Now another studio, WEA ("Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Corporation"), has apparently taken control of the home video rights:
a new listing at Amazon shows that they are planning a
December 4th release of
30 Days - The 2nd Season. Our expection is that WEA is distributing this for Arts Alliance America/Hart Sharp, who put out Spurlock's
Super-Size Me film. In any case, these 6 episodes from the second season aired on FX in July and August of 2006 (the third season is scheduled to begin airing this coming October 31st):
- Immigration
- Outsourcing
- Atheist/Christian
- New Age
- Pro-Choice/Pro-Life
- Jail (Morgan Spurlock personally does this one)
Running time is 270 minutes, and the cost is $29.95 SRP. Bonus material (if any) and cover art are not at the Amazon listing yet, but stay tuned and we'll provide it as soon as we can.
