news item about the
24 Free Preview Disc that Best Buy is giving away "while supplies last" (it contains the first two episodes from
24 Season 2):
This disc - which comes in a cardboard sleeve (and incidentally is
not labeled "Fox Demo Disc #4" after all, not that it matters) has a great offer on the back of it for folks who are on the fence about getting into this series.
The coupon is a mail-in certificate (good through - when else? - 2/24/04) that lets you save up to $10. How? Purchase
24 - Season 1 or
24 - Season 2 between 8/24/03 and 2/24/04 and submit the original mail-in certficate (yes, you have to cut up the sleeve) and the proof-of-purchase tabs from the box sets, along with the receipts, and you will get a $5 rebate mailed to you for each of the season sets you purchased. They do NOT have to be bought at the same time, or the same place even. Yes, you can purchase it through online shops like those we link to here at TVShowsOnDVD (and buying through those links helps support the site!).
