As the #1 new comedy of its debut season continues, sarcastic Max (Kat Dennings) and sophisticated Caroline (Beth Behrs) - who met waitressing at the same Brooklyn diner - move closer to their goal of running a cupcake business...and closer as friends. Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie films) joins the starring cast this season and Ryan Hansen (Party Down) guest stars as Caroline's love interest.
Warner Home Video hasn't announced the title yet, but their online store at WBshop.com has added
a pre-order listing that shows how
2 Broke Girls - The Complete 2nd Season is coming to DVD in stores on
September 3rd. That's seven months away, so it could be subject to change of course (and in the meantime, we wouldn't be shocked either if the studio "disappeared" that listing for a while, until they finalized things and formally announce this release). Cost shown is $44.98 SRP for a 3-disc set, and it's only for DVD this time...no Blu-ray Disc was mentioned. It could be that they're saving the BD for when the title becomes official, but rumor has it that the Blu sales of the first season for this show weren't what they hoped for, so Warner could possibly be skipping that format this time.
