Last week saw the release of
Once and Again - The Complete 2nd Season, and while fans are still enjoying it they are also hoping for more! One more, in fact: everybody wants to know if we can reasonably expect to see the 3rd and final season of the show that is beloved by so many fans.
Everyday fans aren't the only ones asking this question, though.
Newsweek's Ramin Setoodeh also asked about this, but was able to pose the question to no lesser a person than Sela Ward herself! In an exclusive online interview with Ward that is
posted at MSNBC.com and entitled "Lily Speaks," Setoodeh puts the
Once and Again star on the spot, and Ward rises to the occassion with an answer we can all smile at:
It took so long for the second season to come out on DVD. Are we going to get the third season, too?
Yeah. They just had a group - whoever they could scrounge together around the studio - to narrate the very last episode.
Good news! Since Sela Ward can confirm that some sort of commentary track (we assume that's what she means by "narrate") has been produced for the series finale, "Chance of a Lifetime," then it's reasonable to expect that the 3rd Season set will be ready to hit store shelves in the not-too-distant future. If I were a betting man, I might place a wager on early 2006...just a guess on my part, though.
